Putri began her legal career in 2005 at Eversheds LLP, London UK where she trained and practised as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales with a specialisation in banking. Upon her return to Malaysia she read in the Chambers of Kadir, Andri & Partners and was called to the bar in 2009 and was thereafter made a partner in 2012, before becoming a founding partner of PNC Law.
Whilst Putri’s main area of focus is banking and finance, she remains active in other varied corporate exercises which include mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements and capital market transactions. Within the area of banking and finance, she features regularly in local and cross border deals acting for both lender and borrower respectively for different types of financing structures such as project finance, shipping finance, acquisition finance and property finance. From the regulatory perspective, she has advised local and international financial institutions with local presence on their reporting and compliance issues. She is also known for her work on the formation and implementation of long term incentive plans for listed issuers.
